Shoe Review - Hoka Challenger 7
My name is Todd and i’m experienced shoe fitter using Gait Analysis to recommend the best type of running shoes for our customers at Whirlwind Sports in the Helston and Truro stores.
After training for nine months i have just completed the Eden Project Half Marathon in a time of 2:14:19 in a pair of Hoka Challenger 7’s raising over £600 for the Charity ‘Mind’ and here are my thoughts on the shoes:
“The shoe itself is an all terrain shoe and this faired well for the varied terrains which were thrown at me, it was smooth on the road, and grippy through the mud, gravel and grass.
The cushioning was very plush meaning it was a comfortable ride underfoot and the Meta-Rocker meant that the shoe had a smooth heal to toe transition especially up and down the many Cornish hills.”
In conclusion i feel that the Hoka shoe performed very well for me and i’d definitely use them again
